As a chair of the Women's Caucus Leah works to ensure equity and justice for all women and their families. As a member of the Seniors Caucus, Leah listens to the viewpoints and concerns of seniors and visits seniors in the riding to ensure they are well represented.

As the elected Member of Parliament for Aurora–Oak Ridges–Richmond Hill since 2021 and as the federal liberal candidate in the upcoming election, Leah Taylor Roy is dedicated to serving her constituents and ensuring their voices are heard in Ottawa.

Leah's role on the Standing Committee of the Environment and Sustainable Development has been an important part of her work - the health of the environment and our planet are of the utmost concern to her. On the Agriculture and Agri-Food Committee, Leah has focused on sustainable local agriculture, food security, and combatting escalating food prices. Leah has also served on many parliamentary associations and caucuses to advance the interest of her constituents.

Leah and her husband Peter have been married for 30 years and reside in Aurora, Ontario. Together they have raised six children and have two grandchildren.

Leah's beliefs in the values of strong families and communities and a caring, inclusive country are at the foundation of all she does as a Member of Parliament.
